I used to perform a lot as a solo back then. Since I joined a band, I was inactive in performance for about 3 to 4 years. Now, I'm finally back out there on stage to sing my heart out. Yes, without a band. It was a last minute thing and I was told to sing for them. So I took the offer.
Anyways.
IT'S THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY!!!!
17 days of holiday in fact. I can't wait to just chill and do a lot of artworks. ^w^ My first aim during this h0liday is to get well from the coughs that I have been having. I want to practice singing as much as I could.
And I want to clean up my room. >x<"
I guess I could clean up my room later. I was thinking of redecorating my room. Now I'm thinking I'm not really sure I can do all that during the holidays.
I want to give Red Queen a try but I'm busy making other things for now. I got my preschool reading analysis to finish, Lesson plans for week 20, business cards to design, and portraits to finish. I just need to do these things then I could do Red Queen. ^w^
I wish I can has tea... or coffee... mainly coffee.
But hey, I'm doing just great without coffee. Mainly because I quit for almost 3 years without them.
Anyhoot, it's 1:25 friggin' am and I still can't sleep. Bugger. I pray I wouldn't fall asleep when I'm teaching. It's a no-no.
I made this for the contest in deviantart (Picture Yourself in Wonderland). Took some pictures and Adi suggests that I should immediately fix the picture due to deadline. Gots more to come. ^w^

And I'm thinking of photo manipulations but I need a cameraman (I can't take photos of myself) and a scene from the movie that I could follow/copy. And I maybe trying out either Alice or Chesire Cat.
I want to join for fun but at the same time.. I want to see if I could win something (I've never win any art related competitions... I'm so sad.)
Anyone reading this... got some ideas?

March 1st of last year was one of those toughest day of my life. My boyfriend (then, 4 years together) was involved in a car accident. He had internal brain injuries and was in a coma for 3-5 days and was in a semi-coma for 5 months. He woke up after that and his first words were 'Ma, aku kan ke jamban' (Ma, I want to use the toilet). He was unable to walk, get up and do things of his own. When I first heard his voice over the phone, I've never felt happier. After talking on the phone with him, I cried instantly and told the good news to my family. We visited him that weekend.
Today, I was browsing around facebook while making tutorials. I stumbled upon a status of a someone and it says something to do with a birthday greeting and also missing him after he's passed. I instantly wonder what's up so I browse around (like a little snoop. I'm like a stalker...) and found the guy's facebook. Apparently, he had a car accident and passed away on March 1st this year. He had a girlfriend and they were together for a year.
I could relate to the girl and I could not help but cry. Knowing that she had lost someone so close to her I felt her pain. But then I realize I can't completely relate to her because I'm the lucky one.
March 1st last year, Adi had a car accident and he survived. March 1st this year, her boyfriend had a car accident and he passed away.
I looked at this girl and it made me wonder, 'This would have happened to me.', 'What will do?', 'Will I find someone else?'
I'll leave that answer on the alternate world of me.
I'm truly blessed to have him in my life... still. ^w^
p/s: I may not know you in real-life (or in facebook). My deepest sympathy to the girlfriend of the deceased boyfriend. May he be in a better place and you'll be together again someday. Al-Fatihah and happy birthday...
Alright, I doubt anyone reads my blog 'cos I know I'm a lousy blogger. So here goes...
I'm in a side project band and we're called 'Silent Serenade'. It's a two member band, like She&Him. One's a singer, the other is a guitarist. We play acoustic songs and covers.
Apparently, we've caught attention a dude who's a 'talent agent'(?). And without auditions (and in less than a month), we got signed in. So... we're performing live in JP this month. Maybe from 14th til 16th.
I'm super nervous. I pray to God things go well. >x<
And what concerns me the most, since 'Silent Serenade' is a duo band that plays acoustically, it's normal to being nervous and being so concern of singing on stage....
I, on the other hand, concern about WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO WEAR?!
I don't know what to wear. Seriously, I don't. I like to dress up. Usually, during performances (solo) or cosplaying, I would doll up. But performing for the first time on stage in a band... I don't know what to wear... I would end up wearing the usual (and casual) sleeveless with cardigans, sneakers (or low heeled boots) and just a normal (un-skinnied) torn jeans.
I wonder why this is important to me? Perhaps the fact I've gained fans of my art... like... very slowly. Yes, it took me 4 years to get that 10K. But I guess it's worth it. Besides... I hardly draw. I just wish I could though...
I've drew my 10K kiriban artwork to celebrate my 10K-ness but hardly had the time colouring the out. Maybe tomorrow... As long as I stay away from the internet for once in a while. LOL.

January:
It's the New Year! So, Happy Belated New Year everybody! (Late. I know) Basically, I've tons of art works that I planned to do but never have the time working on it because I was busy with Preschool. The usual stuff, profiling, teaching, getting used to the pupils, etc...
And it was Teah's b'day on the 11th! I gave her a little something-something. I'm glad she loved it. Say herro to...

February:
- I was given a task by the school to teach the girls in school to dance the traditional dance. Which I did but I haven't come up with the position and stuff. I am definitely screwed.
- Been a busy bee by then. Have the intention to do artwork but couldn't put my hands on it.
- I decided to open up some commissions on portrait drawing. $7 for an A4 piece of paper. I'm giving away my original drawings. *Applicable for Bruneians only
- A new headmaster for our school. New headmaster = new rules for school.
- I've been an extreme workaholic by this time.
- Offer to audition for the studio that made 'A Band Once'.
- I've taken a break from the band for a few months. There's just too many drama for the moment.
March:
-Worked on classroom decorations, struggle to become a better teacher,tryingto complete all the school office work, attending workshops and seminars.
- Been sleeping at 1am almost every night. Don't know why! -I began to have neck pains, shoulder pains, back pains and also having trouble breathing. I shrugged and thought that I just need to sleep on it.
- Busy working on Japanese Language and Cultural Week 2010. I was told to design the Big Ikebana and became a Fashion Advisor for the Fashion show. Me likes.
- Adi won't be seeing me the whole month 'cos 1st March is the day he had the car accident, a year ago... Syukur Alhamdulillah. He's up and going and doing great! <3 you, dear~~ Hope we get to see each other soon (we see each other last night. Less than an hour time together. Worth it.)
- Been having horrible headaches for the past week.
- Took MC from work, went to the clinic and get my health checked. The doc says that I've been working too hard. Based on the MC, he wrote that I have 'headaches/ Body malaise'. I researched on it afterwards and didn't know that it couldbe a serious thing. O_OThe doc forbids me from working for a few days.
- Going to watch Tim Burton's (version of) Alice in the Wonderland with Teah!! Nyaaaaaa~~ I can't wait!!
So basically, I've been working my butts off 'cos I want to do my best. And in addition of mental stress from work and personal life. Hehe. Ah, at least I got my rest (I was doing work at home. But not massive.). I didn't get to see how's the Japan Language and Culture week going in UBD. Planned to go today but Teah dragged me to watch Alice. Yay!!

p/s: Oh, did I mention that I've lost a lot of weight now? From 56.5kg to 52kg. O_O"
It was a yesterday event and I went there early in the morning, left for 2 hours (on a date with 'the Wolf') and came back to see various characters came to life. I'm pretty amazed how everyone looked like. Sadly, I wouldn't be able to take pictures of them 'cos I was busy with other things too (like walking around serving cookies) >w<" But there are a bunch of pictures taken by some people.

Overall, I had ton of fun, I've meet wonderful people there. I'm definitely going for the next DevMeet. The question is... who am I dressing up as? *think*

Oh, I have a reason for that. I went out with Adi. Hang out and eat Japanese food~ Yay! He went to look for ramen but the ramen served at Misato (The Mall) tastes like kolo mee... O_O" So his desire for ramen is not fulfilled. Hope I get to see him again and so he could eat real ramen.
And he gave me lolipops, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD and an Official Linkin Park: Songs from the Underground CD!! Ah~ He made my day (I was actually very VERY angry at someone early that morning. But he came and cheered me up. Bless his heart).
The hug was... *sigh* I want hugs like that again. >x<" I'll post up the pictures of the gifts soon.

OH MY GOD!! HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
I was dead bored just now and decided to look for pictures for my next portrait art and then I stumble upon this site and how Alyson Hannigan has this thing on dressing up her first child, Satyana Denisof. IT'S SO ADORABLE!! >x<
I haven't been updated to this blog. I've stared at this blank post for several times now, thinking what to put up...

Except, maybe, now it's the school holiday and I finally get that rest that I lack of. *woot!!*
Anyways, my hair is getting pretty thicker now (naturally) and I feel like getting it cut. Perhaps I would go for the hairstyle that I had last year?
Alright, I don't want to look vain or anything but I really like this hairstyle!
And apparently, my hairstylist couldn't imitate this hairstyle. I don't know why! I might be going to another salon to get this haircut (since I had one just like this at a different salon in the first place...)
Nyeh... Idk.
And also, I want to draw but I don't know what to draw. In a massive artblock-age at a very wrong timing!
So, I've been busy recently, but I feel good enough. Maybe 'cos I feel like I've been surrounded with my love ones, BFFs, friends and family. I'm truly blessed.
I think I'm already well adjusted comparing to I was last year (or earlier this year). It's great to know that I'm on track.

5 years later. You're sitting on your bed, watching Astro all day. Your left arm stuck at 90 degree angle while your almost-healed right hand text me to say that you love me.

Gosh-darn it. I'm the happiest girl in the face of the earth.
This year is different. Every year we get to relive our first moments together. Watching movies, walk around and do dorky stuff like standing at the top-most level of the Mall, making paper airplanes then throw them to the crowds and ran away so the angry, yet suspicious, crowd down below wouldn't be able to catch us.
This year, we didn't get to celebrate like we used to. All because of distance. I've spent almost the whole year, thinking what to give you. And today, I just came up with this. Here's a gift for you, Adi.
I've almost lost you, and I'll try my best not to let that happen again. You're the best thing that have ever happened to me. Thank you for being with me, still. -==Artwork Updates==- Alright, aside from the mush-mush, you thought I might've lazed around, huh? XD Well, I've been pretty busy with work recently but now that it's a holiday, I've got to do bunch of artworks. Yay! Expect more to come this week. I've been freelance working with BAG, my band mate (my drummer) is working under there and he suggest them to ask me to make an animation. I haven't been doing animation for 2 years but I'm giving it a shot. They liked it very much, especially my originally designed characters; BubbleHead and BubbleMini. They liked it so much that they're making my BubbleMini their own mascot! That's awesome! XD I just hope things will run well.
Actually, I've edited the video with smoother movements and better font and color. But I got too lazy to upload them. My internet connection isn't great today...
I'm currently working on another fan-art. Something a little different, I guess. It'll be up VERY soon. :3
I've been watching movies (DVDs) recently too and I cried at happy endings. Is this normal to you guys?!
And that's kinda true too. It was a little unexpected. I went home and realize that my room finally got aircon. Yay~ But my room was hella messy 'cos they removed my table where I put most of my stuff. And later after that, my mom forced to go to the bank with her (for about 6 times now since last week?) and there's this music store next to the bank and I told my mom that I wanna 'survey'. So I looked around and found what I like. They asked me to give it a try and it's not so bad. Next thing I know, my mom immediately bought it for me... >w< Thank you, Mommeh.
So I placed the new keyboard (It's a Casio [even though I wanted a Yamaha or Roland or KORG] CT-810) to where my table was before. It looked nicer there... and I don't where I could put my other stuff (the stuff that used to be on the removed table). So, in the end, I put it to the side 'cos my mom suggests I should buy a cabinet.
I talked to Adi in the phone for about an hour. Trying to refresh his memory after the accident. He forget things like Faiz's real name (but he remembers his nickname instead. 'Combat'), the date yesterday and some stuff about his camera and his red car.
In the evening, Mom wants to bring us out for dinner, for once. And we ate at PizzaHut~ I haven't eaten for a quite a while. (I'm sure more than 4 months). It was phaaaan~ It's funny that we ordered so much and yet I still have room to eat more. OwO Boh.
Went home, wear my PJ's and started to play the keyboard. Getting the hang with the system. So far, I'm pretty cheerful yesterday. ^w^
I like JellehBelleh... (look at my status on fb. The song was in my head while munching on them.)
Yeah... We tend to be VERY dorky.Well, that's about a decade of BFFs for you~

My back is killing me. I should really stop carrying too many things to school everyday. It's painful now. I should try sitting on a chair when doing artworks from now on. Or a bed or something.

The last day of 'extended' school holiday. Tomorrow's a working day. Well, good things must come to an end. XD I'm gonna spend time on doing my lesson plan, and by 2PM, got this BJFA-UBD thing going on in UBD. Since I'm a senior, I'll have to be there. XD
And I had my haircut last Friday... and truth to say, I'm not completely satisfied.
Yeah, I just woke up. I brushed my teeth alreadeh~
Maybe I'll get some bangs? And I tried asking them to color my hair but it doesn't work. So, perhaps, next month I'll get that done using professional tools. Saja, spoil kan diri, as advised from Ka.Tini. XD

I was just browsing around in my deviantArt and figured, 'why didn't I just put up my recent art post?'. So I'm gonna do it. Just to fill this darn quiet blog. >x<
So there you have it. I made this last night from 5 and finished it around 6. I should've just kept drawing 'cos I realize that there are bunch of portrait artists out there spending about 6+ hours finishing one portrait. I usually spend 3 hours max. I'm complaining? Yes. Well, I feel that the more time I spend on drawing a portrait, the more detail it'll get. Reason why I didn't spend 7+ hours on an art? I don't know.
It's good to draw again. I missh it SO much! I may be busy this week during the hols but I don't give a shit. I'm gonna draw as much as I WANT! XD
And oh, visited Adi just now. He's healthier, noisier too. His left eye is now alligned with his right eye. As I left, he yelled some more. I gave him an mp3 player and he fell asleep.
Now, I feel like coloring my hair red and put some highlights on...
